DIPLOMA IN FORESTRY

2 and 1/2 years (In affiliation with BUSE)

Entry Requirements:
5 ‘O’ level passes including Mathematics, Science and English. A’ level passes in Sciences/Business/Technical subjects are an added advantage Or National Certificate in Forestry or related courses e.g. Agriculture, Natural Resources.

Enrollment:
January each year.

DIPLOMA IN WOOD TECHNOLOGY

2 and 1/2 years (In affiliation with BUSE)

Entry Requirements:
5 ‘O’ level passes including Mathematics, Science and English. A’ level passes in Sciences/Business/Technical subjects are an added advantage Or National Certificate in Forestry, Carpentry and Joinery, Wood Technology, Agriculture or Saw doctoring.

Enrollment: August each year.

Certificate Courses

CERTIFICATE IN FORESTRY

Duration: 1 year

Entry Requirements:
Interested candidates should possess a minimum of 5 ‘0’ Level passes, of which include English, Science, and Mathematics or a relevant National Foundation Certificate subject or equivalent.

CERTIFICATE IN SAW DOCTORING

Duration: 1 year

Entry Requirements: 5 ‘O’ Level passes including Maths, English and a science subject. Passes in Technical/Engineering drawing, metalwork or any engineering subjects are an added advantage Or ‘O’ level passes & Foundation Certificate in Wood machining, Woodwork, carpentry, or any Engineering field-related certificate.

Block Release Programs

Diploma in:
-Forestry or
– Wood Technology

The Block Release program is mainly targeting mature and experienced candidates with field experience and working in forestry or wood technology and related fields.

Duration: 2 and 1/2 years (In affiliation with BUSE)

Entry Requirements:
5 ‘O’ Level passes and or a certificate in forestry, wood technology, or related field is required. However, those without these qualifications but interested can still apply and let the Admission team consider.

Short courses are tailor-made for individual groups and duration depends on customer requirements. Duration range from 1 week to 3 months for short courses.

Determined by the customer requirements and courses can be offered in both Shona and English.
